General Description

The AIS RX LITE is an Automatic Identification System receiver and GPS, forming a complete navigational system in one unit. AIS RX YACHT allows navigation and display of all SOLAS vessels with AIS onboard, as well as other ships equipped with AIS. Information transmitted from vessels fitted with AIS Transponders includes name, call sign, position, heading, speed, destination, type and size of the vessel.

AIS RX LITE gives you an accurate position via the built-in GPS. It provides a collision avoidance tool and allows observing behind islands and bends, along with a possibility to identify Aids to Navigation devices like buoys and lighthouses. AIS RX LITE will be an advantage to your navigation in conditions of darkness and low visibility.

The AIS RX LITE is compatible with any chart/ECS and radar system, capable of accepting standard NMEA 0183 AIS sentences. The installation is prompt and elementary, requiring only the connection to VHF antenna, GPS antenna and PC. AIS RX LITE is the perfect complement to radar and has an international standardized interface to various display systems like Electronic Chart Systems or radars.
